I had the opportunity to attend a keynote by Fred Colantonio and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Being a speaker myself, on a different topic than Fred’s, I tend to judge us quite severely. For the simple reason that we know what it takes to step onto a stage with a memorised text and to dazzle an audience that sometimes numbers in the several hundreds.
From that perspective, I have to admit that Fred managed to orchestrate his topic, which is no less difficult than that of heroes, in an intelligent way and to demonstrate with great class that each of us can be our own hero if we adopt the right attitude.
The choice of his three heroes was made with great care, and you can feel that Mr Colantonio masters his message with surgical precision. His pace is constant and fluid, and he does not hesitate to step out of his main thread and come back to it without losing the flow. To me, that is the sign of a great communicator who knows how to adapt to his audience.
For all these reasons I recommend him without reservation to anyone who wants to motivate their troops, employees, collaborators and/or friends by calling on the services of Mr Fred Colantonio to reach “The Attitude of Heroes”.

HR Day in Beauce
The connection with HR Day in Beauce was so strong that we worked together twice around the same guiding thread: simple behavioural frameworks and concrete tools.
In 2018, the closing keynote on “Rebounding to innovate – The art of turning setbacks into springboards” brought together nearly 150 HR leaders, managers and executives to work on the right to make mistakes, innovation and taking initiative.
In 2023, for the 20th anniversary of the initiative, the team invited me back with “Leaving a lasting mark almost every time – The art of making an impact or becoming truly memorable”, in an interactive workshop format, in front of around one hundred HR professionals and managers.
